Firstly, thanks for visiting my website. The artworks on display here have all been created on location and in a day. They are all made to the same size of 19"x17" to fit my suitcase, and created with 7 or less colours in oil on canvas. This is the system I work to.

Why do I paint outdoors? Well, out there in real-time things happen, you improvise massively, surprise yourself and once it gets dark that's your lot, you pack up and go home. It's great, you get a real sense of urgency plus ultimately there is closure.
